I seriously can’t wait for NASS, the white-knuckle ride of a festival that focuses on skate, BMX and rad music, to return on the 11-13 July 2013.
Not for the faint-hearted, NASS is the anti chilled-out-with-bunting-micro-farm-festival.
Instead, let your senses get hit hard with a kaleidoscope of action sports and eardrum-ruining beats amongst a happy crowd of raving adrenaline junkies.
Held at the Bath and West showground in Somerset over the weekend of the 11-13th July 2013, the stellar line-up of word-class dubstep, drum & bass, punk and rock this year includes Nas and Katy B, as well as Radio 1 favourites Zane Lowe, Shy FX, Benga and Andy C. Bristol kids Motion will also be taking over the decks on Friday night.
Elsewhere, watch the cream of the skate crop performing incredible stunts and tricks at the Skate World Cup, try out the airbags and mini skateparks, take in live graffiti and street art perfomances, sample a freerunning workshop or check out eight up-and-coming illustrators battling it out live in Secret Walls.
Fancy letting your creative juices flow and getting free tickets? NASS are also holding a new collaboration with emerging artists – the festival is handing over a wooded area of the site to creative types to do what they will with. Artists are encouraged to put forward a proposal for theming the area with art, decor, lights and music to create a forest wonderland, with the winner receiving £1000 and free tickets to the event. Submit your ideas here by June 28th.
