Hi Siân – great site! And thanks so much for the link to the yoga for cyclists video!
My dream destination is about to become a reality, as we (my husband, 2 year old daughter and I) are moving from Taunton to Sandhurst to live with my parents! Haha, no, that’s not my dream destination – but it’s where we’re going to live for the next year while we save for our RTW cycling adventure (so perhaps more of a journey than destination)!
We’ll be heading off to the states for three months to ease us into it! Then it’s off to SE Asia before navigating our way towards and across the ‘stans’ then somehow over to southern (and the rest of) europe! (Still loads of planning to do obviously!) But one place I really want to try and get to is Syria as I’ve heard it’s just so beautiful. Perhaps by the time we reach there it might be a little more hospitable than it is right now!
Oh, and I can assure you that we’ll be eating some orange pot cakes along the way!!

My dream destination is somewhere that doesn’t involve wellies! 😉 (never found a comfortable pair yet…). Actually, it also changes with the days and seasons. Probably with the last meal I had or film I watched too. So if it weren’t for getting drenched and blown around in Winter Wonderland (British style) it might have been the South Pole. But since it IS winter, I’m going to go for North Korea, the first May after the Kims start lightening up a bit. Would be uncomfortable about going now (after all, the benefit would surely go to the Kims :-(), but once the ordinary people are treated well it would be fascinating to, in effect, be able to travel both in space and in time and experience a sort of parallel universe. My journey to the shed at the end of the garden in the Global Village (wellies not required).

Here’s to your travels in ’14!

My dream destination is Cuba, although perhaps it’s not impossible. One day.

Ooh, I’ve only just realised that I was supposed to leave my email address! It’s seavandeberg@gmail.com
Apparently I got a little carried away talking about the trip! Whoop!
