Cornish sunshine in Finisterre

Cult cold water surf company Finisterre bring their signature clean lines and earthy colours to their first summer collection, perfect for island bike trips and coastal exploring.

Whilst on the Isles of Scilly with Jake Little, exploring the archipelago and making friends with seals, I pretty much constantly wore my Finisterre Coho sweat in oatmeal, £55 and Coverack shorts in opal, £55, which rather handily matched the pale sand and bright blue water of Watermill Cove on St Mary’s, which we cycled to for a lazy swim. The rest of the summer collection features sporty bikinis, tailored shirts and shorts and cosy organic coverups.

A TRIP TO THE FINISTERRE WORKSHOP, ST AGNES

On our wanders around Cornwall Jake and I also popped into Finisterre’s headquarters, nestled on the coast next to the lovely village of St Agnes. This was a dangerous move, because I have serious workspace envy now. From THREE adorable office dogs to surfboards stacked by the door in case of great waves, plus creative types everywhere designing beautiful gear and a flagship shop full of summer kit to lust over, this is a seriously inspiring place.
