It’s tough but although I’m really excited about taking my step kids on holiday for the first time to Jersey, I think I’m most excited about tackling an ironman triathlon with my husband in the peak district.

This year I will be camping in my tent at Port Eliot festival when I stay as a volunteer to litter pick and I will be taking my kayak out on the Helston River.
I also want to try wild camping on Dartmoor and kayaking off the Isles of Scilly something I haven’t tried yet.
I’m a great fan of outdoor adventuring but I’m scared of heights so that rules out some adventures for me, otherwise I like to try as much as possible.
At Easter I’m trying Hatha yoga on the beach for the first time and I’m hoping to really get into yoga because I think it’s great for everyone.

I’m hoping to walk the Three Peaks challenge for a charity my cousin started in aid of their son and other children with disabilities named Footsteps for Freddie and Friends. It’s also a personal challenge as although I like to get outdoors, I’ve never even hiked up Snowdon and i’m a solo hiker! I’m really pushing my confidence, I’ll be travelling up to Scotland on my bill and joining a guided walking group in late autumn. Scary and exciting, but if training for it is anything to go on (and I’ve only been training for a month) then I have an amazing time ahead of me.

Hi Siân. I’m not sure when this competition closes, but i’ld love to join. I’m planning adventures close to home, as I’ve been poorly for quite a while. I like spending time outdoors walking and discovering new places or new observations in places visited before. I get inspired by things found in nature and sometimes respectfully collect materials to make things. Have lately become enamoured with carving spoons from wood blown down or washed up, collected on my walks. For me, adventure isn’t always a big bold and bucketlist kind of thing. It’s discovery, and play, and paying attention, wandering, looking, listening. It’s finding balance between the outer and inner world.

I’m a small upper and medium lower body, long legs, long arms.

I’m super excited about heading out to New Zealand in a few months time to do some voluntary work up on the mountains! I’ll be assisting the Department of Conservation workers with tagging and capturing rare birds and then transporting them to a predator free island. Many of NZ’s birds are flightless and since the introduction of stoats and rats about 60 years ago, the birds eggs are no longer safe and the numbers have dropped considerably. There is only just over 200 of the beautiful Takahe left in the world (a beautiful bright blue chicken like bird with a large red beak). Hopefully transporting them to these predator free islands will help these birds to hatch new chicks and so on. Can’t wait to do my bit for the great outdoors! Size 8.

Oh my, so many things! Well, firstly trying out for a local Ice hockey team- I’ve only been playing IH for 6 months and skating for a previous 6, managing to get my grade 5! It’s something I’ve improved a crazy amount on so I’m hoping I can do this. Also, a load of walking, cycling and running on different routes and tasks- I’m really hoping to cycle from one side of England to the other whilst fundraising for Greenfingers Charity, which helps create beautiful gardens for the children in hospices to enjoy and relax in! I also want to do the 3 Peaks Challenge, and this is a big goal of mine as I’m Diabetic so that introduces more challenges such as carrying crazy amounts of food so it gets quite heavy and tiring, but I’m hoping it would help improve my fitness and get me into pageant mode 😉 Oh and of course, I’m hoping to do a bike ride from Warrington to Manchester as part of a campaign to get young people more involved in local communities and being eco-friendly (by getting a group of young people together and showing how fun and good for you this can be)
AKA Too much to look forward to haha!
    I’m a size 8 🙂
