Get sartorially savvy in time for winter with these gorgeous lookbooks from my favourite outdoors brands. Looks like accessorising with Land Rovers and really great hair is big news this season.

FJALLRAVENfjallraven Autumn/Winter 2014 outdoor lookbook

Key look: Checkered flannel, olive green cargo pants and lustworthy canvas backpacks for rugged explorers. Accessorize with a surf board under your arm (no need to actually surf when you look this great).

ADIDASadidas Autumn/Winter 2014 outdoor lookbook

Key look: Adidas’ new #openallwinter campaign is all about hardworking fabrics that’ll keep you warm in subzero temperatures, whether you’re trekking, ice climbing, skiing and slacklining over an abyss (maybe leave that last one to Hayley Ashburn). Gear this year is sleek, padded and in chilly shades of ice blue.

FINISTERREfinisterre Autumn/Winter 2014 outdoor lookbook

Key look: More hipster-than-thou surf kids camping in luxe thermals – you wouldn’t expect any less from cult Cornish label Finisterre. This season is all about covetable cableknit jumpers and a rusty orange longer length waterproof designed with surfers in mind.

ROXYroxy Autumn/Winter 2014 outdoor lookbook

Key look: Cheerful winter brights and some serious beautiful ski goggles – Team Roxy are sticking to what they know this season. Their snuggly hoodies, chunky bobble hats and waterproof ski jackets were made for stylish snowboarding ladies.

PEREGRINEperegrine Autumn/Winter 2014 outdoor lookbook

Key look: It’s all very lady of the manor at Peregrine this autumn, and if you need to chop some wood outside your country pile this is what you should be wearing. I saw the collection first hand last month and am a little in love with the elegant asymmetrical Pembroke jacket.

COTSWOLD OUTDOORcotswold Autumn/Winter 2014 outdoor lookbook

Key look: Cotswold round up some tough, hardwearing, ready-for-anything kit this season – this is no-nonsense gear for adventure lovers. And look, more Land Rovers! Officially the (incredibly expensive) accessory of choice this season.

FAT FACE

Key look: See? This is how cute your family could look on Christmas morning if you strategically dress them in a delightful jumble of Fat Face’s finest winter apparel. I’m a big fan of this adorable crew neck alpine patterned jumper.

ROO’S BEACH Autumn/Winter 2014 outdoor cookbook roosbeach

Key look: A girl’s guide to how to stroll about on Cornish beaches whilst having officially the best hair ever. Luxe, surf inspired layers in mustard shades, amazing knitted hats and a folk-knit jumper that I need right now.
