My favourite outdoor film festival returns to British soil from this weekend. It’s the biggest adventure you can have without actually going anywhere.
Be inspired by some of the worlds bravest (and craziest) adventurers at the Banff Film Festival, which showcases beautiful stories of travel, extreme sports and derring-do from across the globe. This year’s bounty of short film goodness includes surfing in the Arctic, an epic bike ride across America and a climbing journey to the world’s four cardinal points, as well as amazing characters like slackline star Faith Dickey and 88 year-old skier Eddie Hunter.
I can’t wait – last year’s star turn North of the Sun was one of the most inspiring things I’ve ever seen.
Get your tickets here. See you at the Bristol screenings!
I just got an email from Half Moon Outfitters yesterday about it coming to our city in April (charelston, sc, us). We marked out calendar and I can’t wait to go. It will be our first time.

you’ll love it Meghann! There’s a really friendly atmosphere at them too 🙂
That is too cool. I see stories about the festival in places like Outside Mag and i love to read about such adventures. It would be cool to go to this. Jealous! They need to come to Omaha!
Well, I’ll be; it is coming to Omaha in 2015! No date scheduled but I will watch close and try to attend. Cool!!
