The great outdoorsy Christmas gift guide 2025

Travel and Outdoors Christmas gift guide 2025

1, Snowdrift Recycled Hood, £34.95 from Passenger
Perfect for: skiers
It’s snowy season! This cosy hood is far warmer than a hat, brilliant for sub-zero mornings on the slopes, and is made from recycled sherpa fleece.

2, Tully boot, £109.95 from Merry People
Perfect for: gardeners
Grab yourself some gumboots – these warm and comfy wellie boots are my new favourites for muddy walks and messing about in the garden, and they come in a rainbow of pleasing rainbow shades.

3, Yoga and pilates layers, from £20, BAM
Perfect for: yogis
I’m a little bit obsessed with BAM’s super soft bamboo layers, which are buttery-soft and naturally antibacterial. I never take off these yoga pants and I’ve just ordered this Throw On jumper in multiple colours.

4, and 10, Sun and Wind Repair Balm, £5.95 from Wideye
Perfect for: your secret Santa
Shopping for an outdoorsy secret Santa? You can’t go wrong with this repair balm, which saves cracked surf skin with sea buckthorn. Also brilliant for hikers, skiers and winter adventurers heading out into the hills. They also do extremely cute mini solid shower bars perfect for sticking in stockings.

5, Day Hikes of Great Britain, £15.99 from Lonely Planet
Perfect for: armchair hikers
Get out more in 2026, or give your favourite walker a tome of armchair inspiration from Lonely Planet – and co-authored by me! I had the best time hiking hidden corners of Britain to update this beauty of a book.

6, Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Jet Set, £15.20 from Notino
Perfect for: city trippers
My pick of the best boxing day presents? Make your favourite weekender smell like sunny holidays on their next jet-setting trip with this addictively delicious little kit from cult Brazilian brand Sol de Janeiro, all in carry-on-friendly sizes.

7, RayBan RB2180, £114 from Smart Buy Glasses
Perfect for: a blowout present
Treat someone who has been very good this year to my favourite sunglasses, ideal for driving and hiking. Smart Buy Glasses have some brilliant discounts, including 20% off these flattering tan RB2180s.

8, 30 litre Duffel bag, £60.50, Teton
Perfect for: trekkers
Packing kit in a soft duffel means one thing to me – adventure. Teton’s bags come in different sizes and are great quality, have built-in backpack traps – and are more affordable than some posher brands.

8, Outdoorsy stickers, from £1 from Etsy
Perfect for: stuffing in stockings
Etsy do the very best stickers for sharing your love of the great outdoors on laptops and water bottles. My top pick this year is this waterproof Hiking Makes me Happy number, although high contenders also included ‘I Love Peeing Outside’ and ‘Reluctant Walker’s Club – But I Made It In The End’.

11, Foscot Firepit, £90, The Coastal Lifestyle Company
Perfect for: cooking outdoors
Foscot’s elegant fire pit is a portable campfire you can stick in the back garden – fill with logs for an easy way to cook, roast marshmallows or just sit around a crackling flame with friends.

12, C-Monsta Wetsuit Hanger, £29.99, Surf Girl Beach Boutique
Perfect for: surfers
Wondering what on earth this contraption is? It’s super handy wetsuit hanger perfect for keen surfers and winter wild swimmers.

13, Reykjavik Insulated coat, £376, Icewear
Perfect for: winter explorers
One coat to rule them all – this longer length parka insulted with Icelandic wool is perfect for keeping more of your body toasty on sub-zero days and it feels amazingly soft and comfortable to wear, with great pockets and a well-fitting hood plus a DWR (durable water repellent) coating that water and snow will bead right off if the heavens do open. Available for women and men in three colours – and this December I have one Icewear Reykjavik jacke to give away over on Instagram.

14, Cashmere merino bandana, £76, Rise & Fall
Perfect for: travel types
I live in this wonderfully soft scarf, which looks good with everything and is easy to pack for travelling. For a wanderlusting type who’s been very good indeed.
